Transfer a domain to us
Bring an existing domain across without downtime. Your DNS records come with it, and for most extensions the transfer adds a year to your expiry date.
Unlock the domain
In your current registrar's panel, turn off the registrar or transfer lock.
Request the EPP code
Also called an authorisation or auth code. Your current registrar must supply it, usually by email to the administrative contact.
Start the transfer here
Submit the domain and code. We check eligibility before taking any payment.
Approve the transfer
You will receive an approval email from the registry. Approving it speeds the transfer up considerably.
Transfers that will be rejected
- Domains registered or transferred within the last 60 days.
- Domains still locked at the current registrar.
- Domains within the redemption or pending-delete period.
- Extensions with registry-specific rules, such as .com.np, which we handle manually.
Check transfer eligibility
We check first. Nothing is charged until the transfer is confirmed as possible.
What a transfer costs
A transfer is charged at the extension's transfer rate and normally adds a year to your expiry.
Extensions marked manual require registry documentation and are handled by our team.
