What you get with fax to email
Faxes arrive as PDF
Every fax lands in your inbox as a PDF attachment, readable on a phone, forwarded like any other email.
More than one recipient
Nominate several addresses so a whole team gets the fax, rather than one person who may be on leave.
Send by writing an email
Attach the document, address it to the recipient's fax number, and send. You get a notification when it goes through.
A real local number
An Australian, UK or New Zealand number that is yours for as long as the plan is active, so existing senders need not be told anything.
Everything archived
Sent and received faxes are kept in the account manager, so a fax from six months ago is a search rather than a hunt through a filing cabinet.
It goes where you say
Faxes are delivered only to the addresses you nominate, and you set which addresses may send, receive, or both.
Two allowances, not one
Every plan has a received page allowance and a sent one, and they are different numbers. Pick on whichever you do more of.
Received and sent are counted separately
Basic is 500 pages in but 200 out. If you mostly send, the received figure in the headline is not the number that matters to you.
Fax streaming on Standard and above
Without it a second fax arriving mid-transmission gets a busy signal. If more than one person faxes you at a time, start at Standard.
Archive storage is 150 pages
Past that, faxes still arrive in your inbox but stop being kept in the account manager. Delete old ones or add storage.
Supported attachments
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF, HTML, plain text and the common image formats. Anything else, convert it to PDF first.
Choosing the right tier
A plan is only good value if it matches what you are actually running. These are the situations each tier was sized for.
A medical or allied health practice
Referrals and results still arrive by fax, and they need to reach more than one person.
Legal and conveyancing
Occasional inbound fax on a number that has been on the letterhead for years.
A busy office
Fax all day, in both directions, without anybody standing at a machine.
