Who issued it

Your invoice states the legal entity that sold you the service, its registered country and its tax details. That entity is determined by your billing address and is the same entity that issues any refund or credit note.

Why the amount changed at renewal

Many plans have a promotional price for the first term and a standard price afterwards. Both are shown at purchase, in your cart and on your service record, so you can check the renewal figure at any time before it is charged.

Domain renewals can also change when a registry adjusts its fee. We pass those changes on at your next renewal and tell you before they apply.

Tax lines

Tax is calculated from your billing address and the rules that apply to the issuing entity, and is itemised separately. Business customers should ensure their tax number is on the account before the invoice is issued, because a reissue after the fact is not always possible.

Paying and disputing

• Pay from the client area, where all invoices and receipts are stored.
• Enable auto-renewal per service if you would rather not think about it.
• If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before raising a chargeback. We can identify it faster than your bank can.
