Upgrade, downgrade or cancel a service
How proration works and what happens to your data.

Upgrading
Upgrades within a product family are applied to the same account, so there is no migration. The unused value of your current term is credited against the new one, and you pay the difference.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at your next renewal rather than immediately, and require your data to fit within the smaller plan's limits. We will tell you if it does not.
Cancelling
Cancel from the client area. By default the service runs to the end of the paid term and is not renewed. You can request immediate termination instead, which does not generate a refund of the remaining term unless the Refund Policy applies.
- Take a full backup before the service ends. Data is deleted after the retention period.
- Cancelling hosting does not cancel your domain. Domains are separate services with their own renewal.
- If you are leaving because something is wrong, tell us first. Most of the time we can fix it.
